Holiday Giveaway!

Blackstrap BBQ

December 16, 2013

in Contest / Giveaway, Verdun

It’s that time of year again… when the city is plastered with wretched fluffy white stuff, people’s driving abilities are diminished, festive mall sweats hinge on the border of full on anxiety attacks and your halls are decked with Holly’s balls; yes, the holidays. Once a year I dust off my old note book and revive my never ending endeavour of trying to figure out what exactly “nog” is, and if it’s possible to noggify other things to bear nog-like beverages; Coke Zero nog? Orange juice nog? Diet meal replacement nog?

This year, in the spirit of giving, I will be giving all idiot drivers a piece of my mind about what they can do with their driving skills and where they can park it, fortunately for you, I’ll be offering you something completely different… and delicious!

Thanks to Blackstrap BBQ, we’re giving away one of their awesome gift baskets packed with goodies to bring home the bacon (sort to speak). Chef Dylan has bottled up his championship winning BBQ mojo and I’m giving it away to you!

If you’ve never been to Blackstrap before, first off, on behalf of the human race and the people of earth, I’d like to welcome you to our planet. Secondly, here is my review.

Blackstrap BBQ gift basket
Prize:
1 “medium” Blackstrap BBQ gift basket (which includes):
THE RUBS
-1 bottle of beef rub
-1 bottle of pork rub

-1 jar of Blackstrap’s spicy BBQ sauce
(Add the sauces to the meat during the last minutes of cooking or use as a condiment, served on the side.)

T-SHIRT
-Official Blackstrap BBQ 100% cotton t-shirt

All bundled up in a disposable aluminium cooking pan!

Also, Shut Up and Eat will be also giving you a special sumthin’ sumthin’ revealed on to the winner in the name of holiday spirit.
(Total prize estimated retail value: $49)

DURATION:
Starting TODAY Monday December 16th, until DECEMBER 21ST MIDNIGHT! Winner will be announced and notified and you will have until the end of the day on DECEMBER 22nd to pick up your prize if you want it before the holidays!

Hmm, well it’s a cliche as an Australian to say that my favourite thing to BBQ is shrimp, but seafood definitely is my favourite, particularly lobster/crayfish at Christmas time!
