Is it terrible that I absolutely hate Poutine – I know as a Montrealer it is sacrilgious to say that…but I hate poutine ever since I was a teenager and on ski Patrol every weekend up north…I took an absolute dislike for the cheese but love ff w sauce…and cheese curds in my hand as a snack but ne’er the two meet in my mouth….:))

Hi! I just registered to the challenge with a teammate and we would gladly represend shutupandeat!

Jason September 26, 2011 at 10:25 pm

Hi Arthur! I guess you registered in person…? Are you pumped for it yet?!

Arthur A. September 26, 2011 at 11:00 pm

Hi Jason, yes, we went there tonight to taste their poutines (which are really good! the one with braised beef is excellent, and the sweet potato fries, amazingly crispy). We saw the plate in which the “hearth attack” is served, and we think we can do it, although it will definitely require some physical and mental preparation throughout the week :D We named our team “sorry mum” for now, but that can change!

Hey Arthur, YES! I totally agree, the braised beef poutine is one of the best I’ve had. I’m impressed with your confidence, and I wish you all the luck! I will see you there!
